Its the ‘ol’ one-two’ at the V Festival with a top 2017 line-up

The unique, highly successful, dual location August weekend Event,The V Festival, has just released its tickets for sale. It is, as usual, promising to be a Festival occasion doubly certain of success – quite literally!


Over recent weeks it has been confirming a line-up bursting with all the variety, energy and ‘stardust’ that any Summer Festival needs to make an indelible stunning impact on the 2017 Festival year.


V uniquely takes place simultaneously at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire from 19 to 20 August. Tickets are now on sale from major ticketing outlets, including Ticketmaster. Prices start from £100 for day tickets and £199 for camping weekend packages. 


Lead head-liners are Pink and JayZ. Jay Z headlines V Festival for the first time, Pink returns after performing at the event in 2007.


The mammoth fame and appreciation of this exceptional duo is well known of course. So, for sure, its quite a coup for the V Festival to have such a pair of headlining Super Stars set for their dual location 2017 shindig.

Jay Z is without doubt one of the best selling musicians of all time, having sold more than 100 million records. while receiving  21 Grammy Awards for his music. Rolling Stone ranked three of his albums among the 500 greatest of all times


He was ranked the tenth-most successful artist of the 2000s by Billboard the 88th-greatest artist of all time by Rolling Stone. Jay Z is married American R&B singer Beyoncé.


Pink has sold over 60 million albums worldwide, including over 16 million albums in the United States. Her career accolades include three Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, a Daytime Emmy Award and six MTV Video Music Awards.


VH1 ranked her number 10 on their list of the 100 Greatest Women in Music, while Billboard awarded her the Woman of the Year award in 2013. At the 63rd annual BMI Pop Awards, she received the BMI President’s Award for “her outstanding achievement in song-writing and global impact on pop culture and the entertainment industry.”


Other confirmed leading acts, sure successes for the V Festival crowd, include Craig David, Rudimental, Sean Paul, Pete Tong, Jess Glynne, Madness, Dizzee Rascal, George Ezra, James Arthur and The Vamps.

Certain high level dance music acts have also joined the line-up, including Steve Aoki and V Festival regular, Example & DJ Wire.

Organisers point out that the V Festival is not suitable for young children, and under 5s are not permitted. The age restriction is 16 years +. All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 with an appropriate valid ID
