last ever

This Garage Fest will be one of the last ever UK Garage raves at The Coronet venue before they close their doors for good! The venue featured on this blog recently. It has had some ups and downs of late and was at one time set to pull the plug apparently on January 5 this year.

vibrant

But the venue will now operate a full event programme throughout 2017.  The Coronet Theatre – check them here on this blog –http://www.quotrofest.co.uk/coronet-beats-close-live-another-year/ has been a vibrant, cultural hub and community resource throughout an impressive 138 year history.

guises

It first opened its doors as the Elephant & Castle Theatre in 1879. and has had variety of guises – includsing an ABC cinema, the Coronet Film Centre and most recently as the now versatile multi-purpose venue with the name of ‘Coronet Theatre’. It has hosted the likes of Tom Jones, Oasis, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake – and will now host Garage Fest 2017!
