‘Barking up the right tree’… with Rick!

Who doesn’t like a comeback eh? – I mean there are comebacks… and comebacks aren’t there and some just give you that warm cuddly feeling – even if you’re standing in a Forest!

One of our team at QuotroFest gave a shriek and fell off his chair when he spotted news that the legendary Rick Astley is a Festival Summer attraction for 2017 as part of the renowned Forest Live Summer series from the Forestry Commission – he was last year wasn’t he I suggested!?

Astley’s well and truly been on the comeback trail for some time. He has undergone a considerable ‘rebirth’ – dare one say – and is now a long long way from those days of his 1987 boyish face and the whimsical No l – Never Gonna Give You up – had him in the limelight

Thirty years on, Astley has risen to the top of Album charts of late with his ’50 ‘ Album and has got the 2017 gig this Summer for Forest Live – and with his status currently, the Commission are ‘barking up the right tree’ for sure it seems!

Good luck to the FC of course for this worthy cause event. For those that like to know the inside facts in detail, here they are from the ever reliable Efestivals… and thanks!
